Newtonmore is the ideal base for exploring the Highlands and, with our in depth knowledge and passion for the area, we can take you to some of the hidden gems as well as the more popular spots. Below is a sample of our day trips for which we charge £30 per person per trip (based on 4 to 6 persons) excluding additional charges for boat trips and entrance fees which are usually in the region of £5 - £10 per item. ROUND THE PARK - Round trip via Pitlochry, Glenshee, Braemar, Ballater and over the Lecht to Tomintoul, taking in castles & distilleries en route.

ISLE OF SKYE - Travel through "Monarch of the Glen" countryside to Skye where we'll see the spectacular Cuillin Ridge and visit Dunvegan Castle. Stop off at Eilan Donan Castle en route.

 

 

LOCH NESS - Round trip taking in Inverness, Loch Ness (including boat trip for those brave enough to go out on the water), Drumnadrochit and picturesque Fort Augustus.

 

 

BLACK ISLE - Dolphin and seal spotting (boat trips available), brewery, distillery, chocolate shop, cheese factory, pottery.

 

 

ULLAPOOL - Round trip via Inverness.

Ullapool, Inverpolly Nature reserve, Strathoykel and Shin Falls.
