We are currently in the process of applying for the Green Tourism award.

Below are some of the ways in which we strive to be environmentally friendly:

  • Only using evironmentally friendly cleaning products
  • Using energy efficient appliances wherever possible
  • Recycling and composting as much of our waste as possible
  • Using fresh local ingredients wherever possible
  • Making our own bread, jams & marmalade
  • Serving only Fair Trade tea and coffee
  • Specialising in vegetarian cooking
  • Providing free pick up from train station
  • Providing transport and tours to encourage our visitors to leave their cars at home
